The Boulevard Mall series is back with more than 50 employers, from Station Casinos to Harry Reid International. Nevada State University is opening its fall expo to the whole community, not just students. And the locals' casinos out on Rancho and Sunset are hosting three more fairs between now and Thanksgiving.

EmployNV Workforce Development Career Fair — Tuesday, September 15

EmployNV, the state's workforce arm, is putting a clean energy career fair in the heart of the Westside. That location matters. Most valley hiring events land in Henderson or out on Sahara, and this one sits in a historically Black neighborhood that does not usually get first crack at a sector expansion. Expect energy, manufacturing, gaming and hospitality employers in the room together. Free, and free parking. Walk-ins are welcome, but registering ahead through the EmployNV events portal moves you through the door faster.

Las Vegas Job Fair, Over 50 Employers — Wednesday, September 16

The Boulevard Mall fair is the workhorse of the valley hiring calendar. It is unglamorous, it is central, it is free, and it reliably pulls the biggest employer count of any recurring event in town. The listed roster for this one runs past 50 companies and includes Station Casinos, Binion's, Four Queens, Tao Group Hospitality, Ellis Island, Magnolia Bank, CSC Event Security and Harry Reid International Airport. No registration, no appointment. This one is worth a call to confirm before you drive out, since the organizer schedules these in a rolling series and dates occasionally shift.

Las Vegas Career Fair — Thursday, September 17

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Santa Fe Station Hotel, 4949 N. Rancho Dr.

A general, multi-sector fair from Choice Career Fairs at the northwest locals' casino. Admission and parking are free and registration is not required, though registering gets you a VIP pass and priority entry. The employer list posts a few days out and usually spans admin, banking, construction, customer service, financial services, food and beverage, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, logistics, retail, sales and IT. Dress the part and bring more resumes than you think you need.

Nevada State University Fall Employer & Graduate School Expo — Tuesday, September 22

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Rogers Student Center Ballroom, Nevada State University, 1300 Nevada State Drive, Henderson

Read the fine print on this one, because it is better than it looks. Nevada State bills this expo as community-wide and explicitly open off campus, which means you do not need to be enrolled to work the room. Employers and graduate programs share the floor, so it suits anyone weighing more school against a job offer. The employer roster had not been published as of late August, so check the university calendar the week before.

Las Vegas Career Fair — Thursday, October 22

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Sunset Station Hotel & Casino, 1301 W. Sunset Rd., Henderson

Same organizer, same free walk-in format, different side of the valley. Worth knowing before you set your GPS: the listing calls this a Las Vegas career fair, but Sunset Station is in Henderson. If you live in Green Valley, Anthem or Whitney this is your closest fall event by a wide margin. If you are coming from the northwest, budget for the 215.

Las Vegas Career Fair — Thursday, November 19

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Santa Fe Station Hotel, 4949 N. Rancho Dr.

The last confirmed fair of the year, back at Santa Fe Station. November is late for seasonal retail and hospitality hiring, but it is prime time for January starts, and recruiters staffing up for the winter convention calendar are often in the room. Note that clocks fall back on November 1, so this one runs on Pacific Standard Time.

Six events is more than most people need. Sort yourself quickly:

Hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, security: September 16 at Boulevard Mall. Nothing else this fall puts that many casino and hospitality recruiters in one room.
Trades, energy, manufacturing: September 15 on MLK. A clean energy fair is a rare thing on this calendar.
Henderson and Green Valley residents: September 22 at Nevada State, then October 22 at Sunset Station.
Career changers and anyone with a degree in progress: September 22. Employers and graduate programs in the same room is a genuinely useful combination.

What It Means for Job Seekers

Las Vegas is a strange market right now. Visitation has been soft for a stretch, and plenty of casino workers are technically employed but short on scheduled shifts, which is its own kind of squeeze. At the same time the valley keeps landing smaller, better-paying expansions in advanced manufacturing, clean energy and logistics, mostly out in Henderson and North Las Vegas. Nevada's minimum wage sits at a flat $12.00 an hour statewide, with no separate Clark County rate and no lower tier for employers who offer health benefits since 2024, but almost nothing on these fair floors starts there. Real posted rates around the valley this summer ran roughly $15 to $20 an hour for retail and housekeeping, $17 to $18 for security, and $22 to $23 for industrial technician work.
